Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at The College of Southern Maryland. As a part-time temporary faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in the Geography discipline, including Introduction to Cultural Geography, Introduction to Geography, and World Regional Geography.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Geography discipline, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Use instructional technologies to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students
  • Participate in program and curriculum review and development initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in the discipline of instruction or a related field
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Subject matter/content expertise in Geography
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
