We are seeking a highly skilled Senior TPF Realtime Systems Analyst to join our team at USA7 DXC Technology Services LLC. The ideal candidate will provide expert support for TPF production systems, ensuring optimal performance and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- 24x7 Support: Provide continuous support for production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
- Second-Level Operations Support: Offer advanced support for operations, including dump analysis, outage recovery, and system troubleshooting.
- System/Network Trouble Calls: Resolve complex system and network issues efficiently, minimizing the impact on business operations.
- Software Implementations: Ensure smooth transitions during software implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Tool Development and Maintenance: Design and maintain tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and system performance.
- Database Monitoring: Monitor database integrity and address related issues, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- Maintenance Checkouts: Conduct regular maintenance checkouts to ensure system stability and performance.
- Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews for new implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system architecture.
- Crisis Team Support: Assist crisis team activities as needed, providing expert support during critical situations.
- Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation: Support disaster recovery planning and implementation, ensuring business continuity and system resilience.
- Implementation Coordination: Coordinate with teams for effective system implementation, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Special Projects: Work on special projects for process improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing changes to enhance system performance.
Qualifications:
- Required: 7+ Years zTPF Mainframe experience
- Required: High School diploma
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Experience with troubleshooting systems and networks
- Knowledge of database integrity monitoring
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
