About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment, ensuring that our warehouse operations are running smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate warehouse and environmental health and safety training to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage safety performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure that Cardinal Health's principles, policies, and procedures are consistently practiced throughout the warehouse operations.
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse worker team to achieve productivity and quality goals.
  • Coordinate workflow to accomplish overall business objectives, including receiving, stocking, returns, cycle counts, and clean-up.
  • Filling-in for others and performing functional tasks daily where/when necessary.
  • Handle general employee inquiries and solve routine problems within scope of the position, referring more complex problems to the next level supervisor.
  • Maintain positive employee relations and promote a team environment.
  • Promote process improvement and support the supervisor by assisting in the monitoring of attendance/tardiness and providing input for performance appraisals of warehouse employees.
  • Work closely with other leads and supervisors within the facility to promote teamwork and provide assistance in the training and development of new hires and retraining of other employees.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills required.
  • 4+ years of experience in a warehouse operations or supply chain management role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • MHE experience preferred.
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.
