Telehealth Veterinary Technician

Chewy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telehealth Veterinary Technician to join our Healthcare Team. As a Telehealth Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting and educating pet parents on products and services that promote animal health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health.
- Participate in program development and enhance training procedures to ensure seamless customer support.
- Identify and triage platform improvements to support innovative advancements in telehealth services.
- Collaborate with Chewy Health team members to develop current and new services and products that meet the needs of pet parents and veterinary professionals.
- Commit to working 40 hours per week and maintain a quiet and distraction-free workspace with a reliable internet connection.
- Active Vet Tech License/Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT).
- Veterinary Technology associate's or bachelor's degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to interact with customers and Chewy team members remotely through an online platform.
- Exemplary listening and problem-solving skills, with a passion for helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask comfortably and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and utilizing a team-oriented environment.
