Veterinary ICU Technician

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department.

Key Responsibilities:- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Triage emergency cases, obtaining vital signs and alerting veterinarians to changes and issues.
- Perform digital radiography using proper technique and positioning.
- Have a complete understanding of normal patient vital signs and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs.
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
- Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration, and calculate medical math.
- Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
- Mentor and train other coworkers, and address client concerns with patience and empathy.
