Position Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a Progressive Care Nurse Manager who will lead and provide expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a PCU setting.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing leadership and accountability for the delivery of safe, quality patient care across assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
  • Ensuring that nursing practices, policies, and procedures comply with legal and accreditation standards.
  • Facilitating continuity of care through an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Collaborating with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members to share relevant patient information regarding progress and treatment.
  • Developing and implementing programs to assess and enhance the quality of nursing care, striving for hospital-wide improvements in patient safety and service excellence.
  • Coordinating patient care effectively with other hospital services and departments.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal skills; ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directions; proficient in PC skills.
