Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Progressive Care Nurse Manager, you will lead and guide the nursing team to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care in a Progressive Care Unit. We are a dedicated team that values collaboration and seeks a passionate individual who shares our commitment to patient care.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and accountability for the delivery of safe, quality patient care across assigned departments.
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating continuity of care through an interdisciplinary approach.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to share vital patient information regarding progress and treatment plans.
- Developing and implementing quality improvement programs to enhance nursing care and meet safety and service excellence goals.
- Coordinating patient care effectively with other hospital services and departments.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations.
- Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer.
- Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficient in computer skills.
