Provider Enrollment Specialist

Remote Opportunity

Long-Term Contract Position

**Applicants must reside in Alabama

As a Provider Enrollment Specialist at Brooksource, you will become an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to re-credentialing healthcare providers in preparation for an upcoming audit within our health insurance division. Your primary duties will involve conducting thorough quality assessments of enrollment applications to ensure adherence to established guidelines.

You will engage with providers to confirm that each application is accompanied by the necessary documentation, contains accurate information, and is free from errors. A critical aspect of your role will be to maintain the quality assurance of credentials, ensuring that all data is entered accurately and promptly.

This position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. If you thrive in environments where you can achieve targets and maintain data accuracy, this role is tailored for you. Your performance will be evaluated monthly based on both accuracy and the volume of successfully credentialed applications.

If you are seeking a chance to advance your career with a highly regarded organization in Alabama, we encourage you to explore this opportunity further.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in credentialing is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or data entry may be considered in lieu of credentialing experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
  • A degree is not a requirement.
  • Conduct quality reviews of enrollment applications to verify compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist colleagues in other departments and providers in resolving claims payment issues by confirming provider file information.
  • Support Network Integrity in monitoring and identifying providers who do not meet enrollment compliance standards.

Company Overview and Benefits:

As the largest provider of healthcare benefits in Alabama, our client serves over 3 million individuals and employs a workforce of more than 3,000. With flexible working hours, an on-site cafeteria, wellness center, and gym facilities, you can expect a stable and motivating work environment. If you are looking for opportunities for training, education, and mentorship, along with stability in your career and exposure to essential technologies, this position is an excellent fit for you.
