We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to join our team at AmeriCold Logistics. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, preventing and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including customer claims, cycle counts, and adjusting inventory quantities.
- Communication: Communicate count results and discrepancies to management and customers as needed.
- Inventory Control: Promote a safe work environment, identify and report safety concerns, and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to three years' office experience or equivalent training and experience.
- Skills: Experienced with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Forklift license required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods, frequent interruptions, and manual dexterity for typical office work.
