Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant - Patient Care to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures.
  • Taking vital signs or observing patients to detect response to medication, and reporting reactions.
  • Restocking medication inventories.
  • Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and emergency situations, and taking corrective action as needed.
