Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Vascular Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed. You will work closely with our physicians to ensure that patients receive excellent care and that treatment plans are effective and safe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment plan recommendations.
  • Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients and ensuring their specific needs are addressed.
  • Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
  • Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure effectiveness and patient safety.
  • Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure availability of ultrasound technicians for timely patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
  • Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued operations.

Requirements:
  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification.
  • Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
  • Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
