Job Overview

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Deli Manager to join our team. As a key member of our deli department, you will be responsible for leading a team of deli associates, managing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of deli associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist the Deli Manager in managing daily operations, including ordering, inventory control, and product quality.
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, and goal setting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a deli or related food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of deli operations, including ordering, inventory control, and product quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Safety certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
