- Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members
- Manage product orders, receiving, and storage
- Operate and maintain deli equipment
- Ensure the execution of all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations
- At least 18 years of age with 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of deli department experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to take and give direction
- Strong focus on detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Food Safety certification
