Supply Chain Manager Job Description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our operations in the Cincinnati, OH area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day supply chain activities and driving success across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coach direct reports to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Operational Management: Establish and implement day-to-day operational guidelines to drive success.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues with day-to-day Distribution Center activities.
  • Fiscal Reporting: Provide fiscal reports regarding needs of all Facility departments.
  • Financial Analysis: Create a timeline comparing the current financial status of the company with previous years.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with all employees and division leaders.
  • Customer Focus: Adhere to all Retailer needs to uphold the company's image and credibility.
  • Performance Improvement: Provide direct reports with constructive criticism and feedback on an ongoing basis.
  • Training and Development: Train and supervise employees to increase performance potential.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage all Supply Chain initiatives to cut costs and increase productivity.
  • Organizational Knowledge: Have an all-encompassing knowledge of the entire organization and all functions within the company.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Drive results by developing, monitoring, and reporting key performance indicators for success within all aspects of Distribution activities.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Work closely with the Regional Director and provide an in-depth analysis on the status of Distribution progress.
  • Safety and Compliance: Uphold safety standards to ensure a healthy work environment.

  • Customer Relationships: Develop and sustain close customer relationships by making customers and their individual needs the primary focus of the organization.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of supply chain management experience, food industry preferred.
  • Operational Management Skills: Operational management skills are essential for this role.
  • Microsoft Office Experience: Proficient Microsoft Office experience is required.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Logistics and Transportation Background: Thorough background in logistics and transportation is required.
