Compensation: $25-$35 per hour
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse
This role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing career in a dynamic environment that offers diverse and fulfilling challenges. You will play a crucial role in delivering nursing services, training, and support to meet the medical and psychiatric needs of individuals facing various challenges.
- Oversee the health status of individuals and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation while supervising staff who administer medications.
- Deliver medical treatments as per physician directives and provide personal care services.
- Conduct health assessments and implement healthcare services tailored to each Individual Service Plan (ISP), responding to any changes in condition.
- Train staff on essential topics such as infection control and medication administration.
- Act as a liaison and advocate, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate services for individuals in care.
- Provide educational training for individuals on topics like self-medication and health education.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or a valid state certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a nursing role with the target population.
- Current LPN or LVN licensure in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
- Additional certifications as mandated by state regulations, including CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS training.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, individuals served, and their families.
