Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the food manufacturing sector. This role involves the upkeep and repair of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on machinery to maximize efficiency and lifespan.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and fix problems effectively.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain safety standards.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform emergency repairs during production and manage scheduled maintenance during downtime.
  • Identify and report any operational issues or defective materials to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing sector.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in mechanical maintenance and industrial electrical systems.
  3. Proficient in using CMMS for maintenance tracking.
  4. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  5. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  7. Physical capability to work from heights and in various environments.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in HVAC or maintenance technology are a plus.
