Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients under the direct order of a physician. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and the ability to work efficiently in various hospital settings, including pediatrics, operating rooms, and emergency departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
• Provide patient care in a timely, professional, and safe manner
• Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating rooms, and emergency departments
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

• 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred
• Graduate of a radiologic technology program
• Registered Technologist for Radiography certification
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and call rotation

Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and the need to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
