Job SummaryThe Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care in a timely, professional, and safe manner.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce quality images.
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics and emergency department.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred.
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program required.
- Registered Technologist for Radiography required.
This role requires working every weekend, with a call rotation schedule.
