Energy and Grid Integration Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:
* Establish a track record for proven performance of integration of power systems and control technologies through design of resource assessments, and perform renewable and classical power systems analyses.
* Support micro-grid to full-scale grid demonstrations, research and development.
* Coordinate model results to technical staff, group leads, and external collaborators.
* Prepare and contribute to design analyses and developments, technical reports, publications, and presentations at national technical meetings and project reviews with program sponsors.
* Support INL Systems Engineering and Integration Department leadership in meeting customer expectations and milestones, and internal reporting metrics.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or directly related field from an ABET-accredited institution and 2 years of experience or Master's or PhD in mechanical engineering; Engineer in Training or related field from an ABET-accredited institution or directly related field and 0 years experience.
* Relevant experience commensurate with level.
* This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy \"L\" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
