Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our testing capabilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a sustainable approach to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Test Automation and its related framework. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and effectiveness of our SAP BTP projects, driving innovation and excellence in our QA practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP BTP Test Automation framework that emphasizes reusability and operational efficiency.
  • Guide and support team members in adopting best practices for SAP BTP Test Automation technologies and methodologies.
  • Evaluate SAP BTP Testing Procedures and Requirements to guarantee thorough coverage and high quality.
  • Create and execute detailed SAP BTP Test Cases, automate testing processes, and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile DevOps setting to incorporate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth quality assurance processes.
  • Continuously review and update test cases and strategies to align with the latest SAP BTP product features and enhancements.
  • Identify, document, and monitor bugs and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP BTP testing, offering insights and troubleshooting assistance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels and addressing any quality-related concerns.
  • Provide reports on testing status, outcomes, and quality metrics, delivering insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Test Automation, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with SAP BTP or comparable cloud platforms.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in cloud platform testing, with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • In-depth knowledge of Software Testing methodologies, Programming Languages (preferably Java), and Quality Assurance principles.
  • Proficient in utilizing test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, and knowledgeable about BDD frameworks.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) and practices, with a proven history of enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the capability to mentor and lead a team.
  • Strong background in customer relationship management, focusing on ensuring client satisfaction through quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
