As a project engineer, you will be part of our onsite upstream engineering and R&D team, dedicated to advancing tampon production technologies, primarily through mechanical manufacturing processes, while also supporting the site's raw fiber processing and logistics sectors. The ideal candidates will dismantle obstacles to success, lead project teams through innovative initiatives, and build upon the department's achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a project team to establish a technical readiness plan, define success criteria based on existing standards, and leverage insights from previous projects.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists, various functions, and other manufacturing sites to devise optimal solutions.
  • Formulate integrated technical learning plans to meet targets aligned with the project timeline.
  • Engage in a dynamic, people-oriented, hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee the delivery and initiation of new equipment, initiatives, and projects.
  • Monitor progress and identify/manage potential risks.
  • Exhibit strong communication, time management, and analytical capabilities.
  • Develop and enhance standards to ensure performance targets are met for specific production lines.
  • Report on progress and relay pertinent information to senior management.

Job Qualifications

You will excel in this role if you:

  • Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; other engineering disciplines will also be considered.
  • Possess 2-6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Have a keen interest in manufacturing and people-centric work.
  • Seek a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills, guiding teams to enhance the organization.
  • Are open to relocating during your career; P&G typically allows employees to change career assignments every 2-5 years based on personal and professional circumstances.
  • Have a knack for communicating insights and collaborating across teams and organizations.
  • Are willing to travel occasionally for work, with travel not exceeding 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous technical experience with cartoning and palletizing equipment.
  • Background in a manufacturing or general industrial setting.
  • Experience in risk management.

Compensation:

The starting salary range is $85,000 - $115,000 annually. Compensation at P&G varies based on several non-discriminatory factors, including office location, role, qualifications, and relevant experience. Total rewards include salary, bonuses (if applicable), and benefits.
