Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist II role at Centerpoint Medical Center is a critical position that requires a high level of skill and expertise. As a member of the OR team, you will be responsible for assisting in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the OR team in maintaining a safe and sterile environment
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide support during procedures
  • Ensure quality patient care during operative procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
  • 3 years experience in surgical technology
