Job Title: OR Tech II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OR Tech II to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Job Summary:

The OR Tech II will assist the surgical team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgical team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of the surgeon during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
  • Competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery

Our Outpatient Services include a Surgery Center, Advanced Wound Care Center, Pain Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Imaging, and Rehab.
