Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Office Nurse to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing services in an office setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to patients, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and laboratory testing.
  • Assist with patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and prescription refills as needed.
  • Participate in electronic documentation of care and may enter orders in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Perform waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing, including point-of-care testing.
  • Collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina or South Carolina.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Previous medical office experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds.
  • Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
  • Manual finger dexterity.
