Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Associate to join our team at Pacific Medical Centers. As a Medical Office Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration: Accurately register and check in patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of provider time.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect co-pays, payments on balances, and process walk-in payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document Management: Accurately scan and index documents and reports into patients' charts in the EHR system.
  • Communication: Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls, route calls to the appropriate person, or take messages as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or GED required.
  • Experience: 2 years of medical office experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Knowledge of computers and EHR software, Epic experience required, excellent communication and organizational skills.
