About Our Team:

Seagate Technology is seeking a talented individual to join its development and process architecture team in Longmont, Colorado. As a test process engineering intern, you will work closely with mentors to develop and advance manufacturing test process solutions for cloud hard disk drives.

About the Role:
  • Design and implement software and firmware test process solutions for the latest technologies in hard drive manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative architectural solutions that serve as the backbone for test process software and firmware.
  • Contribute to the development of test process solutions that ensure the highest quality and reliability of cloud hard disk drives.
About You:
  • You should have hands-on experience with software and firmware development, with a proven ability to debug issues and identify root causes.
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with team members and stakeholders.
  • You should be able to conceive and develop solutions to complex engineering problems, with a strong understanding of electrical and computer engineering principles.
Requirements:
  • Python and/or C expertise is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with source code control systems such as Perforce.
  • You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science, with a return to classes in Fall 2025.
Location:

Our Longmont product-design campus is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, offering a unique and inspiring work environment. You will have access to on-site amenities, including a cafeteria, fitness center, and community spaces. Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires us to inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $24 - $35/hr. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
