Customer Service Representative I

Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative I, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience while maintaining a strong partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention. Your responsibilities will include understanding operational protocols and actively deterring dishonest behavior in line with established customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
- Act as a deterrent to theft through proactive customer interaction and a professional demeanor.
- Ensure accurate checkout processes for both customers and associates.
- Report shrink-related issues to Store Management and Loss Prevention.
- Collaborate effectively with Store Management and Loss Prevention to achieve operational goals.
- Participate in shrink-related initiatives alongside Store Management.
- Support and contribute to store shrink reduction objectives and programs.
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
- Encourage associates to utilize shrink reduction resources.
- Foster safety awareness and assist in maintaining a secure environment.
- Follow through on commitments and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Collaborative team player, effectively working with peers and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs.
- 0-2 years of experience in retail or security.

Compensation: The starting pay range for this position is $17.28 to $18.28 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
