About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve proficiency in key manufacturing unit operations through training with operators and engineers.
  • Manage initiatives under the guidance of the Operations Manager, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Troubleshoot plant process issues with technicians and operators, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and operator training materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of management of change procedures, minimizing disruptions and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Support new product and process commercialization, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch.
  • Measure and analyze product quality, process capability, and yield using statistical process control techniques, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree, with a focus on chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Strong understanding of fluid flow and heat transfer principles, with experience in P&ID or GMP environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
