Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing.

About the Role:
  • Salary:$75,000 - $85,000 per year
Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of experience in budgeting procedures. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and preparing budgets for new grants and renewal of grant applications for programs to be submitted to funding agencies and/or internal departments.

You will also summarize and set forth data concerning year-to-date expenditures and balance of available budgets for the Finance Director, Program Directors, and the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.

Additionally, you will meet with the Program Directors, the Finance Director, and the Executive Director to update them on current budget expenditures, monitor/forecast budgetary performance, and develop resolutions for submission to the Board of Directors for approval.

Furthermore, you will analyze expected over/under expenditures based on current spending trends of the various programs and suggest corrective action to the Executive Director, the Finance Director, and Program Directors when requested.

You should have expertise in MS Excel and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar disciplines or an associate's degree with applicable experience.
