Position Overview
This role is responsible for managing homeowner insurance claims that involve complex policy interpretation, thorough investigation, damage evaluation, liability assessment, and negotiation of settlements.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will oversee the entire claims process and act as the main point of contact to ensure efficient resolution of claims. This includes:

  • Promptly evaluating bodily injury claims, assessing medical and general damages, and analyzing injury causation.
  • Setting and updating case reserves for injury exposures throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Negotiating settlements with both unrepresented claimants and attorneys representing claimants.
  • Conducting thorough investigations by obtaining recorded statements and collecting necessary documentation such as police reports and medical records.
  • Communicating liability decisions to all relevant stakeholders, including customers and underwriting teams.
  • Managing litigated claims in collaboration with defense counsel to devise effective resolution strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the claims process.

Work Environment
This position supports a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work to foster collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree. A minimum of three years of experience in bodily injury claims is highly desirable.

Skills Required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with excellent critical thinking abilities, are essential for success in this role.
