Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at The Townsend Hotel. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms, as well as maintaining the overall appearance of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles.
  • Restock bathroom amenities, such as toiletries and towels.
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any issues to management.
  • Operate a light vacuum and other cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols, including the use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all rooms.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
