Key Responsibilities:
Engage actively in employee-led team projects
Communicate project updates to peers and leadership
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Behavior Based Safety (BBS) and conduct training for co-workers
Facilitate Safety Training sessions (Monthly, Refresher, Initial, etc.) for various stakeholders
Audit On-The-Job Training for gaps and assist in addressing identified issues
Participate in Tier I and Tier II sessions, updating safety boards and follow-ups
Train leaders and peers on engagement and near-miss reporting programs
Analyze data from existing programs to identify trends and areas for improvement
Follow up on safety alerts from other locations
Complete assigned site-specific standard work activities
Execute tasks aligned with compliance, injury prevention, and employee engagement initiatives
Address and report safety issues or hazards promptly
Maintain an excellent safety and attendance record
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associates/BA/BS in Business Administration or related field preferred
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing/warehouse environment
OSHA training and/or certification preferred
Baseline knowledge of safety programs such as Lockout Tagout, PPE, Machine Guarding, Forklift Safety, and Behavior Based Safety
Demonstrated compliance with company policies and procedures
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership experience, and coaching abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal associates and external suppliers
Passionate about safety, compliance, and injury prevention

This position is based in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to sit for prolonged periods
Occasional climbing of stairs/ladders
Work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a manufacturing setting
Frequent movement within the manufacturing plant
Occasional outdoor work
Access to roof areas may be required
