Job Description

The Compensation Manager will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining payroll best practices to improve efficiency
  • Supervising payroll specialists
  • Running/processing commissions and bonuses for sales department, managers, and marketing department
  • Reviewing GP% for sales commissions and creating summaries to send to VP of Sales and President
  • Maintaining employee records in payroll/HRIS systems
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of payroll and accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources processes and terminology, payroll and benefit processes and procedures
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
