Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and related tasks as assigned
- Oversee production processes, occasionally managing multiple production lines simultaneously
- Assist in mold, insert, and color changes on the production line
- Conduct basic operations of injection and/or blow molding machines to enhance efficiency and minimize waste
- Adjust machinery and equipment as necessary to resolve quality and production challenges
- Fulfill Utility position tasks during slower periods or as required
- Monitor resin, material handling, and color systems to ensure optimal processing conditions
- Perform regular quality checks on products against established standards
- Carry out minor adjustments and routine maintenance; assist with preventative maintenance and major repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete and submit all required documentation promptly and accurately
- Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding important matters
- Verify material usage according to standards
- Operate equipment to minimize waste and maximize the use of regrind, purge, and scrap within customer specifications
- Identify and categorize regrind and scrap produced
- Relay processing information to the incoming shift personnel
- Support fellow operators as necessary
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift (Monday - Saturday) 7:00am-3:00pm
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 3:00pm -11:00pm
- 3rd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 11:00pm-7:00am
Who Should Consider This Position?
- Individuals seeking a career path that may lead to advanced roles such as Senior Machine Operator, Maintenance, or Process Technician for high performers
- Those interested in receiving paid training from CKS Packaging
- Individuals looking for a consistent schedule with a stable employer
- Experienced Extrusion Molding Machine Operators
- Experienced Blow Mold Operators (including those familiar with PET or HDPE resin, Bekum, Fisher, Uniloy, Aoki, Sidel, 1Blo, Flex Blow, Sipa, and/or Rocheleau machinery) are encouraged to apply
