Key Responsibilities

MRI Operation and Imaging:
- Operate MRI machinery to produce high-quality images tailored for research objectives.
- Maintain meticulous attention to imaging details and documentation, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with researchers and healthcare professionals to develop imaging protocols specific to diverse research projects.

Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold stringent MRI safety standards and regulations.
- Stay informed on implant safety and advancements in medical technologies.
- Conduct thorough screenings of research participants to assess MRI suitability, reviewing contraindications.

Quality Control and Maintenance:
- Execute regular quality control assessments and routine maintenance on MRI equipment.
- Report technical issues to service engineers and work collaboratively to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Protocol Development and Implementation:
- Assist in the creation, testing, and execution of new imaging techniques and protocols, adapting standard procedures for specific research applications.

Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of advancements in MRI technology and best practices, implementing innovations to enhance service quality.
- Participate in annual safety training and collaborate with management to update standard operating procedures based on new guidelines.

Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, research data, and participant information.
- Ensure secure storage and easy retrieval of data for analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization.
- At least two years of MRI experience, preferably with Siemens equipment.
- Comprehensive understanding of MRI safety and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced IV access skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research setting.
