Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficient handling and storage of goods.
  • Manage and schedule warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of inventory, with regular stock audits and updates.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of goods for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and schedule regular maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure safe storage, labeling, and organization of items to prevent damage and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution and shipment of goods.
  • Monitor warehouse safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze workflow and processes, recommending improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, preferably in the moving and relocation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training and development.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and perform light maintenance as needed.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
