About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Diagnostic Procedures
    • Apply ionizing radiation to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
    • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units
    • Position patients for optimal image capture
  • Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort
    • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust procedures as needed
    • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to ensure smooth procedures
  • Maintain Imaging Equipment and Facilities
    • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on imaging equipment
    • Ensure imaging facilities are clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams
    • Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements

  • Certification
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration
    • SCSQRSA license
    • CPR certification
  • Education and Experience
    • Completion of an accredited radiology program
    • No experience required
