Job Description:

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and effective use of exam and treatment rooms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor
  • Scheduling appointments to meet patient needs and optimize provider time
  • Preparing daily schedules for each provider
  • Maintaining reception area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Maintaining professional relationships with referring offices
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Understanding of dental terminology
  • Friendly, inviting, and professional personality
  • Basic office skills, including typing and filing
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
