  2. Act as a liaison between manufacturing and clients to ensure seamless communication.

  5. Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  6. Communicate customer needs and expectations to the production team in a timely manner.
  7. Provide sales support by matching and filing orders accurately.
  8. Adapt to changes in tasks and responsibilities as required by management.
  9. Perform receiving duties, including processing paperwork and entering items into inventory.

This position requires significant time spent on the phone with customers, both internal and external, taking orders, resolving issues, and strengthening relationships. Responsibilities also include entering orders into the system and coordinating with corporate credit for necessary approvals. Additionally, the role involves verifying order accuracy post-entry and managing documentation.

Follow-up on delivery dates promised to customers, ensuring clear communication between clients and the production department. This includes handling sample requests, conducting monthly inventory checks, and participating in training for continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer systems, preferably JD Edwards.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, and calculators.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED is required.
