Job Title: HERS ICC Inspector

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HERS ICC Inspector to join our team at ARCXIS. As a HERS ICC Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction builders. Your primary focus will be on verifying compliance with building codes and energy efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction builders.
  • Travel daily to multiple job sites.
  • Complete daily inspection reports of inspections.
  • Communicate inefficiencies to job superintendents and educate them and their trades on correction items.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or AA Degree.
  • Two (2) years of construction experience and/or one (1) year of field experience supported with degree in related field of study.
  • ICC Residential Certifications preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire.
  • HERS-Rater or RFI Certification REQUIRED.
  • ENERGY STAR for Homes preferred.
  • Photovoltaic Inspector Certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training Course Certification preferred.
  • HVAC installation or technical experience preferred.
