Job Title: Code Enforcement Officer - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce property maintenance, zoning, fire safety, and noise regulations
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to identify non-compliance
  • Communicate with property owners and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with other city departments to achieve compliance
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of specialized training in fire safety, construction technology, or building inspection
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • ICC Property Maintenance and Housing certification
  • ICC Zoning Inspector certification
  • MD Fire Inspector certification
  • Community Noise Enforcement certification
