Job Overview

At ARCXIS, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HERS ICC Inspector to join our team. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections at residential development sites, ensuring compliance with energy codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction builders.
  • Travel daily to multiple job sites, interacting with job superintendents, sub-contractors, and city inspectors.
  • Complete daily inspection reports, highlighting inefficiencies and educating builders on correction items.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or AA Degree.
  • Two years of construction experience and/or one year of field experience supported by a degree in a related field.
  • ICC Residential Certifications preferred or obtained within one year of hire.
  • HERS-Rater or RFI Certification REQUIRED.
  • ENERGY STAR for Homes preferred.
  • Photovoltaic Inspector Certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training Course Certification preferred.
  • HVAC installation or technical experience preferred.
