Propane Delivery Specialist

AmeriGas, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative to join our team. As a Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Propane Delivery Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Filling Residential and/or Commercial Bulk Tanks with Propane: You will fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane, ensuring that all tanks are properly filled and secured.
- Delivering Propane Cylinders to Commercial/Industrial Customers: You will deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers, ensuring that all cylinders are properly secured and handled.
- Perform Daily Functions in a Safe Manner: You will perform all daily functions in a safe manner, adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistent Use of Required Personal Protective Equipment: You will consistently use required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and a hard hat.
- Work 8 to 12-Hour Shifts: Depending on fluctuating needs, you will work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Class A or B CDL: You must have a valid class A or B CDL and be willing to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable Driving Record: You must have an acceptable driving record, with no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
- Satisfactory Completion of a DOT Physical, Drug Test, and Background Check: You must satisfactorily complete a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to Work Outdoors in All Weather Conditions: You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Ability to Lift Up to 70lbs: You must be able to lift up to 70lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The hourly rate starts at $24.75, depending on circumstances, including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
