As a Bartender for our cruise operations, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our guests while ensuring a memorable experience aboard our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests and colleagues in alignment with our service standards.
  • Prepare beverages accurately by following established recipes and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our drink offerings and pricing.
  • Provide timely and consistent bar service to guests and staff throughout the cruise.
  • Set up and dismantle the bar area, ensuring it is stocked according to specifications and cleaned thoroughly in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bar and all shared spaces, including washing glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Process guest transactions accurately, entering orders into the point of sale system, handling payments, and returning change as necessary.
  • Offer guests information regarding beverage and food options, entertainment, cruise routes, and points of interest.
  • Adhere to scheduled work times and maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year of bartending experience is essential.
  • Possess an energetic and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with guests and team members.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of beverage recipes is required.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A strong service orientation with a proactive approach to assisting others.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
  • Responsible for cash handling and maintaining the bar till.
  • Availability to work during major holidays is required.
  • Must meet state age requirements.
  • In compliance with US Coast Guard regulations, candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
