Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Andersen Corporation. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for providing quality engineering support for new product introductions, product improvement efforts, and manufacturing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality engineering support for new product introductions, product improvement efforts, and manufacturing process improvement.
  • Support quality systems and error-proofing solutions in equipment and process design.
  • Lead and participate in process risk assessments, including FMEAs, to drive quality improvements.
  • Work with IT, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and update operator interfaces for manufacturing and quality inspections.
  • Support factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing of manufacturing assets.
  • Develop and execute validation plans throughout the product/process development lifecycle for equipment asset and full manufacturing line qualification.
  • Analyze fabrication and assembly equipment capability using Minitab or similar software.
  • Lead control plan and work instruction documentation development and implementation.
  • Implement statistical process control within production line equipment validation, plant infrastructure, and quality management system development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% when required.
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing, continuous process environment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, process capability, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems with an emphasis on physical gaging and automated inspection.
  • ASQ certified Quality Engineer/Six Sigma certifications.
