Job Title: Director of Event Technology I

At Encore, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Event Technology I to join our team. This role is responsible for achieving revenue and profitability goals for assigned locations, ensuring World-Class service, and cultivating relationships with key venue personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Venue Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide outstanding customer service, and focus on customer retention.
  • Financial Management & Reporting: Drive results by managing an efficient and profitable operation, achieving Encore's financial goals, and effectively managing labor, equipment sub-rentals, and other costs.
  • Operations Management: Perform and direct daily floor operations, ensure equipment and services are delivered on time, and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Technical Ability: Understand technical aspects of the job, apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and effectively utilize company computer systems.
  • Sales Management: Create effective strategies to maximize revenue per-event, prepare and deliver compelling presentations, and effectively collaborate with vendors and other departments.
  • Customer Service: Deliver World-Class Service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers, small venue personnel, and various Encore supporting functions and departments.
  • People Development: Value People by promoting a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement, and manage performance, addresses employee concerns, and facilitates team development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of audio visual experience, 1+ years of supervisory experience, and 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment, proficiency with computer hardware and software, and effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
