Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive dietary assessments and food preference evaluations upon guest admission.
  • Design, implement, and oversee menus tailored to the specific needs of the guest population.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness adheres to all State and Federal regulations.
  • Oversee procurement processes within the dietary department while adhering to the facility's budget.
  • Manage all facets of kitchen operations, including sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to respect and accommodate guests' dietary choices and routines.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation related to dietary care plans.

Qualifications:

  • ServSafe Certification is required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Preferred experience includes two years in a supervised food service role within an institutional environment, focusing on planning, preparing, and serving both regular and therapeutic diets.
