Job Description

Job Summary:

Diedre Moire Corp. is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Automation Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and automation, with a proven track record of planning, installing, and maintaining complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design electrical systems for automated consumer goods packaging lines, including wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including power supply wiring and conduit, and connect power supply wires to machines and equipment.
  • Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and back-up copies of programs.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems, including transformers, motors, and sensors.
  • Replace faulty electrical components, including printed circuit boards, relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.
  • Replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical systems and automation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and programming languages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
