Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Patient Plus Urgent Care. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients by preparing exam rooms and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and medical staff for imaging procedures by providing necessary protective equipment and instructions.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and adjust controls to obtain optimal images.
  • Position patients on examining tables and adjust equipment to obtain clear views of specific body areas.
  • Interview patients to gather medical history and vital signs, and record information in patient charts.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, following established protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions and reactions to treatments, and report findings to physicians.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by thoroughly cleaning equipment and exam rooms.
  • Notify patients of test results and provide instructions on medication and treatment.
  • Post test results and examination findings to patient charts.
Requirements
  • ARRT and LSRT licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
