Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, obtain approvals, and process vendor and customer invoices
- Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions in accordance with established accounting policies
- Collaborate with night auditors and department managers to optimize revenue and ensure accurate daily income audits
- Work closely with sales managers to ensure precise and timely group billing and manage hotel accounts receivable aging
- Assist in training staff on accounting practices to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and audit requirements
- Analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvements
- Generate and distribute payroll and daily revenue reports to department managers
- Follow up on report discrepancies
- Balance, reconcile, and close various daily accounts, preparing statements to provide accurate information to management while maintaining proper controls
- Address customer issues and complaints promptly to uphold high levels of satisfaction and service quality
- Prepare reports for the Controller, Assistant Controller, and other executive committee members regarding revenue-related issues
- Process payroll in compliance with standards and deadlines
- Input and reconcile daily tip reporting
- Distribute payroll in accordance with compliance standards
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times
- Perform all other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
